Smart controls put your exterior lighting on your phone: scenes you tap once, schedules that follow sunset, and zones so the roofline, landscape, and path lights can each do their own thing. We build your first scenes with you at install, so the system works the day we leave.

Set up with you, not dumped on you
The biggest smart lighting failure is not hardware. It is the homeowner left with an app and no idea where anything is. Before we leave, we build your scenes and schedules together on your phone, name them in plain language, and make sure the people in your house who want control have it. Then we stay reachable for the questions that come up the first month.
Honest about what lives where
Roofline systems, landscape transformers, and path lighting are different layers of equipment, and we will be straight with you about which controls live in the app and which run on their own schedule. The design goal is simple: everything behaves together at dusk, and the controls you touch most often are the easiest to reach.
Smart Control Questions
Do I need new wiring or a hub for smart controls?
Usually not beyond what the lighting itself needs. The controller for permanent roofline lighting installs with the system, and landscape lighting runs from a transformer we can put on a schedule. We confirm the exact setup for your home during the free design visit.
What happens if my Wi-Fi goes out?
Your schedules keep running. Controllers store their programming on the device, so the lights still come on at dusk without an internet connection. You mainly need Wi-Fi to change scenes from your phone or make adjustments while you are away from home.
Can my spouse and kids control the lights too?
Yes. The app supports shared access on multiple phones, and we set up everyone who wants it during the install walkthrough. Fair warning: whoever controls the lights controls game night.
